Lorraine's Food Factory

Born and Raised in the 19th ward in Rochester, Lorraine was the third and youngest daughter of Dolores and Vincent Serpe. She graduated in 1978 from St. Agnes High Schoolwhereshe cooked for the sisters, nuns, and one priest, Father Cushing.

Lorraine went on to Nazareth Collegeto get a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management. After graduating in 1982, she started Lorraine's Lunch Basket. This was located at 121 Park Ave. Lorraine stumbled upon entertainment catering when Chuck Mangione played at Eastman Place several years ago. Her company was the backstagecaterer. This started the launch of Lorraine's Coastal Catering in 1990. This was when she started traveling with the Grateful Dead. She then relocated to 831 South Clinton Avenue, where she sat twenty two people.

In 1994 Lorraine married her best friend David K. Miller. God has blessed them with two beautiful children, Paige and Bryce.

Lorraine's main commissary is located at 777 Culver Road where she and her husband have a restraunt/party house, where all of her memorbilia is displayed.

In 2006 Lorraine became a forerunner in the gourmet frozed food business. She has created her own line of gourmet dinners with seniors and caregivers in mind. He philosophy is "when you reach a certain age in life, all you want is good food."

This beacame so popular that their team developed meals for diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. They received their U.S.D.A inspection number and continue to produce thousands, which you will see in grocery stores today.
